Croatia: A beach lover's paradise, a Mediterranean food lover's frenzy, a sailor's haven.
Here's a few of my favorite shots while traveling in between the islands Hvar, Brač and Vis in the Adriatic Sea.
Krka National Park
Sure, it's a trek to get out to Krka National Park from Split. Unfortunately we missed the last bus of the day out there (which is an awesome, cheap traveler's bus that we took back home), so we actually Ubered out to Krka from Split. (Split is one of the only European cities I've used Uber - they even have an Uber Boat!)
It's one hell of a ride, so I'd suggest making sure you don't miss the bus out. But the views are worth it, just look at that color!
The Island of Hvar
Easily one of my favorite islands we visited while in this Mediterranean paradise, the island of Hvar is everything I absolutely love: idyllic light-colored cobblestone streets, modern decor to match the Mediterranean vibes, all the seafood you can imagine and house music blasting everywhere (it is the party island, after all).
I could easily spend a full holiday on this island alone. Here's just a few shots from our brief time there:
The Blue Lagoon of the Drvenik and Krknjasi Islands
Along our speedboat travels with Brac Excursions, we stopped in to the Blue Lagoon, which is another insane looking site of aqua blue waters waiting for you to jump in and swim.
We spent a few hours taking photos, videos, swimming and then heading up to the restaurant on the island for some snacks and ice cold beers. What a perfect way to end the day sailing!
The Island of Vis
Vis was our first stop on our speedboat tour with Brac Excursions. This island is not only gorgeous but has a quaint sense of peace with it, being one of the least-populated Croatian islands we had stopped at.
