Only 17 days into the new year, and I am already blown away by the positive response towards my first aerial reel of 2017. In only a mere week and a half, I've captured over 420 shares and 28,000 views on a video I uploaded natively to my Facebook. WOW! And with a new year comes new goals, and career goals to match (hence my first blog posting to my media website!).
Blogging is not something new to me, as I've written personal travel blogs, adventure blogs, lifestyle blogs and even music blogs, but incorporating my photo & video work into a storytelling piece is quite new to me. Something I hope to get much better at, so I can compliment my photos & videos with a written dialogue.
For 2017, I am hoping to broaden my scope of work, moving into a wider range of videography clients in all fields. I have decided to upgrade my equipment, as well as take on new content creation ideas (such as cinemagraphs) to implement in future client's work.
And lastly, although I am already certified with basic UAV Basic Training and Phantom 3 Training through DartDrones, I will be expanding my knowledge in UAV drone training, with hopes of being FAA Part 107 Certified for commercial work within the next few months.
